Acceptable Use Policy
Last updated: October 6, 2026
What you may and may not publish on Modullum, and what we do when someone does.
1. Scope
This policy applies to the Modullum platform, including every portfolio published at username.modullum.com. It sets out what you may not publish on the service. The Terms of Service govern the contractual relationship between you and Modullum and continue to apply; where this policy is more specific, it prevails.
2. Your content stays yours
The content you publish is yours. It belongs to the account holder and stays private until you publish it; when you publish it, you grant us only the licence we need to host and serve it from username.modullum.com.
3. Prohibited: impersonation
You may not use the service to pass yourself off as another person, organisation or entity, real or fictional. That includes:
- Picking a username, name, photograph, title or job title that belongs to someone else;
- Presenting yourself as someone else, or as an employee, representative or agent of someone else;
- Reproducing another party's logo, trademark or visual identity without permission;
- Using a real person's photograph, name, voice or other identifying characteristic without their explicit consent;
4. Prohibited: deception and fraud
You may not use the service to deceive, defraud or take unfair advantage of anyone. That includes:
- Publishing phishing pages, or pages that imitate another service's sign-in to capture passwords or payment details;
- Promising investment or crypto returns, or get-rich-quick schemes;
- Promoting fraudulent offers, pyramid schemes or referral marketing schemes;
- Impersonating Modullum, Paddle, or any other payment or support intermediary;
5. Prohibited: unlawful or infringing content
You may not publish unlawful content, content that infringes copyright, trademark or other intellectual property rights, child sexual abuse material, or content that incites violence or self-harm.
6. Prohibited: abuse, spam and automation
You may not use the service to send unsolicited communications, to scrape content automatically, or to attempt to gain access to accounts, systems or data that are not yours.
7. Usernames and domains
Every username becomes a permanent, unchangeable address on username.modullum.com, and is therefore subject to reservation. You may not register a username that:
- Matches a reserved address of the platform, such as
adminorsupport; - Imitates or evokes another party's name, trademark or domain;
- Contains offensive, hateful or discriminatory content;
8. What the service does not generate
So that it is clear what Modullum is and is not: the service does not generate images, audio or video. It performs no face swaps, produces no deepfakes, no voice cloning, and creates no content in a real person's likeness. The avatar you upload is a photograph you supplied yourself, cropped and resized on the server.
9. Reporting abuse
If you find a portfolio that breaches this policy, report it to report@modullum.com. Give us the portfolio address, the reason for the report and, where possible, a link to the content concerned. If the report is verifiable and you are the affected party, please say so — it is what lets us act faster.
10. How we respond
If we confirm a breach, we may, at our discretion and without prior notice:
- Unpublish the portfolio, so that it is no longer publicly accessible;
- Remove the specific content that constitutes the breach;
- Suspend access to the account;
- Terminate the account and delete the portfolio and its associated data.
11. Changes to this policy
We may update this policy. The review date is shown at the top of the page, and material changes are announced in your dashboard or emailed to the account holder.
